In addition to being a visual artist, Anne-Tjerk Mante is also a songwriter and (music) theater maker. He often plays with his mate Micha Götz, but also performs solo. He is looking for the answer to the question: ‘reality, what is that actually?’ With a lot of energy he takes the audience along in that quest. His performances are a mix of songs, stories, poems and thoughts. He picks his subjects from everyday life and his own experiences. Of course, love also comes into play. In the spring of 2021 he was a finalist of the Hague Eurovision Song Contest with his song ‘Dit is mijn Den Haag’. He aspires with great passion for a cultural center in the youngest district of The Hague, Leidschenveen-Ypenburg.
